We have had a busy fall! Waiting for Chad to have his 180 day check-up. I am still anticipating good news again. I'll update you when that is done. Isabel and Jordan are enjoying school and the weather is changing. Isabel and I are taking the train to St. Louis to visit Robbie and Sherri on Thanksgiving...Christmas will be here before we know it.

Remembering September 11th

What was I doing that morning...10 years ago!

I was driving to work to a meeting at the Shawnee Branch and heard something on the radio so I called Chad to have him turn on the TV. While I was driving down Johnson Dr he said "OMG I can't believe that just happened!" That was the moment the second plane hit the tower...

I will never forget driving up to the airport later that day to my office and seeing all the airplanes sitting all over the airport...There were tails of every different airline you can think of sticking up sitting still (It was very spooky).

Today I woke up and looked at my clock and do you know what time it was? 9:11 am...

Thank you to all our first responders, fire, police, EMT for all you do everyday!

Today Jordan turns 13...Happy Birthday Bubba!

Weekday birthday's kind of stink...Jordan spent most of the night asleep on the couch as he was tired from his weekend in Branson!

Oh well...in a few years he'll have a weekend birthday!

100 Day Work-up!

Serious Conversation with Isabel tonight!

Mommy: Isabel do you know what?
Isa: What?
Mommy: Daddy is not sick anymore, do you remember when he was so sick?
Isa: Yes
Mommy: Well he found out today from the doctor that he is all better.
Isa: (thinks for a moment between french fries then says) "Do you remember when I went to Branson with Grandma Connie?"

Out of the mouths of babes...I know she was glad Chad is better but hey since we were playing remember when guess what she remembers most?

We are so thankful and feel blessed that this is now all behind us! Thank you again for your prayers and well wishes!

OK the dreaded day has come...my baby girl is going to Kindergarten on Thursday. How did this happen? I started this blog two weeks before she was born and that was just the other day! Break out the Kleenex box....this is going to be tough!

I'm sad that summertime is coming to a close...it's been a hot one around here but then again it's summer! Chad's 100 day work-up is coming up and school will start soon! Time is flying...
