35 and holding!!!

Ok, so I turned 35 yesterday...big deal right? The thirties never really bothered me so this one is not that big of deal - at least I keep telling myself that all day today. At least Chad has not yet made the comment that I am now as old as him for the next 22 days...
However, I am not very cool according to Jordan, but Isabel at least still loves me and wants me around at ALL times. She puts on a good attempt to make me feel wanted when I take her to the church nursery...she throws a good fit only later to learn that she turned it off just as fast as she turned it on and that she was fine a few seconds after they closed the door.
Oh well, life goes one even when you turn 35...
I am truly blessed with a wonderful husband, kids and family. I can't ask for anything more...

Take care and have a wonderful October!!!

My sweet girl!!!

Having a little girl is so much fun. The clothes are so much cuter (sorry Jordan). I got the black/leopard print outfit on EBay (my new addiction for baby girl clothes). Grandma Connie got her new big girl shoes that are so cute on her feet. The picture in the wood chair was taken when we went over to my dad's this past weekend. He is going well, just working on getting stronger everyday. Hope everyone is well. Take care...

St.Louis/Labor Day/Jordan's Party

Labor Day Weekend...we traveled to St. Louis on Friday night(actually Illinois - where Robbie and Sherri live), did some sight seeing on Saturday, went to the airshow on Sunday (which Isabel slept through the loudest part of the Blue Angel show - how she sleeps through fireworks and airplanes I'll never know). We drove home on Sunday night and then Monday morning went to Chad's parents for the annual Labor Day parade, but we were not done yet. After the parade we went back to his parents house and had Jordan's birthday party complete with lunch. presents and cake. After a quick visit to see Grandma and Grandpa Foster we made it home just in time for baths and bed. Whew...I needed to go back to work just to get some rest. We had a good time. I'll post again after I get some more rest...

First Day of Third Grade

Jordan is now in third grade and can now "officially" ride his bike to school.
However, the rule is he can only ride to school with his friend Bobby who is in fifth grade and he has to wear his helmet (no exceptions). I got a little push back on this till Bobby's mom told me that when Bobby was in third grade the only way he could ride to school was if his dad rode with him. I'll post again soon (Faith - lol) from our trip to St. Louis this past weekend. We had a good time but are ready for a relaxing weekend at home.
