Isabel is one lucky girl...first this was her 7th birthday on the 7th of June.  She has a new doll Lexi and we had the most fun ever at her birthday party last Saturday.  We had before and after pictures, mani's, pedi's, hair, make-up, a fashion show, danced, jumped, and sang. 

 

It was tons of fun...

 Isabel's first Easter dress that she picked out herself (with some help from mom).  Doesn't she have the most beautiful color hair - women pay big bucks for hair that color!  I'm one of them...

Winter - will it ever go away?

This was the second big snow storm (I think Feb 27/28).  This one was no fun as we lost electricity and our power line was ripped off the house.  Thankfully we got power back and Chad ended up fixing the line and we are good as new now.  Easter today....might have more snow tomorrow - BIG sigh!  Will it ever end?

It was a pretty sad snowman at first, but we ended up decorating him good.

 

Another snow/work day today too.  But we stayed inside most of the day...first due to not having electricity, then we made chocolate chip cookies and banana bread.  Both successful I might add.  So far school is still on tomorrow - good deal.

Valentines's Day and Snow Day!

 I Love My Brother - how sweet!  I was thinking she would write I love my Mom but hey it just proves that she does love him even though the fight all the time - made my heart melt!

 February 21st - Snow day for all four of us!  We had pancakes, watched some TV, NASCAR, played in the snow and made snow ice cream (oh yeah and I worked some too).  Busy day!

 Of course we had to have a little photo session while playing - love this picture!

 We were cold and came back inside to have hot chocolate and make ice cream

 Snow Ice Cream - love that the recipe called for CLEAN snow (all in CAPS)- as if I had any doubts!

 It was yummy...

Her favorite part of playing outside was knocking me over and covering me with snow...she thought it was pretty funny.  Me not so much...but she had me laughing so much I could not get up with all the layers on.
