Isabel said something really cute the other day. I was upstairs in my room and she was there with me. She went down stairs to see Chad and then came back up and said (with her hand on her hip) "I went down stairs and talked to my Dad, and he said...." She had her hand on her hip and it was just so funny...she sounded so grown up.

There was also a sweetheart dance in town Friday night, they must have talked about it at school on Friday because that night she said. "Can I go to the dance with all my children?" I said "are your friends going to the dance?" She stated, "Yes, can I go to the dance please, please?"

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas today with family and friends. Sorry I did not get my Christmas letter out before the holiday...I promise to get one before the New Year. Here are a few pictures from today to share. I'll post more later...Merry Christmas everyone!

The Dress from High School Days

Some of you might remember that in High School I took a ton of sewing classes...I made everything from dresses for the HS dances, to pillows, bags, hair bow and this red dress. Actually I never finished it (hem and zipper) back then. Mom kept it all these years and then when I had Isabel she had her friend Judy finish it for her and then gave it to me. It looked like about a size four so I kept it in her closet all this time. I took it out a couple of Sunday's ago and put it on her...it fit perfectly. So I had to take these pictures before we walked to church that day. Next time, I will try and have a ribbon around her waist to dress it up. Thank you Judy and Mom...I need to get you guys a picture of her in the dress.

Our one-month stint of dance classes - needless to say we are waiting a year to continue. This picture was taken 2-minutes BEFORE she freaked out and would not go inside or let go of my leg. We will try again when she is four next fall..
