Chad got the following certificate at Chemo today...It was the Purple Heart Award for completing his six rounds of Chemotherapy! We are so thankful that this is the last treatment. Chad is now scheduled for his PET scan in February then a consult with the Stem Cell Transplant team at KU for an evaluation to determine if this is in his immediate future or something down the road.
Although the prayers are still needed that this round of chemo does what it is supposed to do and that he starts feeling better soon. Right now he is really feeling the effects of today and is up in bed already. Thanks so much for everyone's prayers and well wishes.
