Here are a few pictures that I took during our last ice storm...I love taking nature pictures but I'm ready to take pictures of flowers and green grass...hopefully we will be saying GOOD-BYE to Winter 09-10 soon!

Today I will have a new niece...Darrell's (my step-dad) daughter Suzie is having her baby girl - Elaina JoAnna. Can't wait to meet her...

Really done with this weather...

OK - If anyone EVER hears me complain about it being HOT or HUMID or the SUN is in my eyes PLEASE thump me over the head!

I am so tired of this winter...it was 47 degrees on Thursday, and then snowed yesterday. I can't take it anymore. At least this winter will make me appreciate the spring and summer that much better.

Things are well here for us...looking forward to spring break and the possibility of going to Florida in May to see the space shuttle take off. This has been a "bucket list" item for us and we need to do it this year since the space shuttle program has been cut.

The kids are doing fine, Jordan will soon be completing Elementary school and going to Middle School next year! Isabel will be a Kindergartner next fall in 2011! I can't believe how fast my kids are growing up.

Isabel said something really cute the other day. I was upstairs in my room and she was there with me. She went down stairs to see Chad and then came back up and said (with her hand on her hip) "I went down stairs and talked to my Dad, and he said...." She had her hand on her hip and it was just so funny...she sounded so grown up.

There was also a sweetheart dance in town Friday night, they must have talked about it at school on Friday because that night she said. "Can I go to the dance with all my children?" I said "are your friends going to the dance?" She stated, "Yes, can I go to the dance please, please?"

Merry Christmas!!!

The Dress from High School Days

Some of you might remember that in High School I took a ton of sewing classes...I made everything from dresses for the HS dances, to pillows, bags, hair bow and this red dress. Actually I never finished it (hem and zipper) back then. Mom kept it all these years and then when I had Isabel she had her friend Judy finish it for her and then gave it to me. It looked like about a size four so I kept it in her closet all this time. I took it out a couple of Sunday's ago and put it on her...it fit perfectly. So I had to take these pictures before we walked to church that day. Next time, I will try and have a ribbon around her waist to dress it up. Thank you Judy and Mom...I need to get you guys a picture of her in the dress.
